I really enjoy traveling and wish it was a bigger part of my life. I have been to Europe and loved every bit of it. I would love to go back to experience the southern coast of Europe. I would like to go back to the Carribean again. Only been to the Bahamas on a cruise.

I don't drink very much or very often, but I can still cut loose and have a great time without the alcohol...and trust me...I can act just as stupid. LOL. Hmm, where to start. It takes me a little while to open up to new people, but once I get to know someone, I can be fairly open about things. I'm pretty malleable in that I like to avoid conflict whenever I can. Eddie Izzard coined the phrase "male tomboy" to describe himself, and that saying fits me as well.

I consider myself really to be your average run of the mill guy. My days tend to go about the same every day. Wakin up and going to work then going home and chilling out/relaxing usually playing an MMO on my computer. I work at walmart in lawn and garden so i spend most of that time outside in the sun. I am not lonely, but I have come to the realization in life, that I am tired of being alone. Is that not the reason that anyone posts themselves on places such as this? I am not so lonely that I am going to start chasing down women to be in contact with, as I have found myself in South Africa, the Ukraine, and Jamaica, as well as many other places in past years by letting my little head think for my big head.

I am shallow, I guess, in that I am very selective in the women that I want to be involved with. I want to be involved with women that I fall in love with their minds. I love a woman that has somewhat of an expanded consciousness first. But if she is not wrapped up in a body that I find attractive, then I am sorry, but it does not tend to go anywhere. I am not arrogant, just confident that I am who I am, and I love myself first...totally. If you do not find a way to love who you are first, then you can never fully love another person. You must leave your baggage from the past where it is. The past memories are fine for going back into for information about your life, but wasted as far as letting them push your buttons and take you away from the moment of now. You live in this moment of time, and the past is dead, and you can do nothing about it, and the future never comes. This is our moment. Live in it totally.

I just moved back to Kansas after a few years of being in Ohio. I went to KU, and I am a huge Jayhawks fan - I watch all of the basketball and football games! I enjoy reading, watching tv and movies, and sleeping. I like to think that I am laid back, but I know I am also very obsessive and organized. I enjoy going out with friends, but also enjoy staying in. I finished up grad school in December, but the economy sucks right now, and I haven't been able to find a decent job in my specialty. Hopefully something will come along that doesn't want 5-10 years experience or only pay $8/hour pretty soon - I'm ready to embark on my career!

I can come off a bit rough but I'm really quite sweet and generous. I'm a geek, so computers are sort of my thing. I work at a machine shop where I run a coordinate measuring machine for inspection of aircraft parts. I really love reading. I go through author binges, series binges and sometimes I also go on subject binges. I have stacks of Asimov, Herbert, books on writing style, on math, on economics (micro and macro), books on logic, philosophy, material fracture, quantum physics, programming, design, etc...etc... Lots of books.
